We’ll be getting to know much more about Delilah (and potentially other Season 2 characters) once Another Story officially drops on April 29. Since she seems to be awake and walking around though, we’re very intrigued to see if Delilah would be fighting with the spiky bed too or if ArcSys will take her in a different direction to make better use of her intellect and magical abilities. Interestingly, one of the teaser shots released for Another Story shows Baiken stabbing a mechanical bed that looks pretty identical to Bedman’s (albeit with a different looking crown) though we don’t know yet if it belonged to Delilah or was one of her brother’s. That scene was also the only hint about what Delilah could look like since we only get to see the feet of some mystery character teased right afterward. There is evidence suggesting that ArcSys has already shifted around their DLC plans for Strive on multiple occasions now, however, but even if she gets shuffled out of Season 2’s lineup, we’ll be very shocked if Delilah doesn’t show up at some point on the roster.Īs for what she’ll be doing, the fact that she wants revenge for Bedman’s death probably means she’ll be battling alongside the good guys.Įven though he was their enemy for the majority of Guilty Gear Xrd’s story, Bedman did have a change of heart at the end trying to destroy the Universal Will before he perished. With how much work it is now to craft a high-quality character model to the caliber that ArcSys does, it would also be a big waste of resources to make someone essentially brand new just to show up in the story too.

That Man Asuka is arguably the only real exception to that so far, but given his role in the series and previous data mines, we expect him to show up some time still too. The overwhelming majority of new characters fully introduced in Strive’s story ended up being included in the launch roster like Giovanna and Nagoriyuki or after launch as DLC with Goldlewis and Happy Chaos.
